Question of the Week: Sex, Drugs or Rock & Roll?

Posted by A.C. Rhodes on September 23, 2007

More specifically, have the first two ever eclipsed your attention to or hampered productivity level with the latter?

  1. The answer would be “no.” Rock and roll is the only constant of those three. Your so-called friends sex and drugs will always up and leave you at any old time, but your pal rock and roll is always there for you, just a button press away. *Sniff*

Perhaps the strength of this trio is that refuge in one if the other is unavailable. While I’ll try to refrain from presenting as pro-drug, the music is always there if the romance, or lust, is not & in that way you get the sex. This is esp. true if one’s listening to, let’s say, Iggy Pop. It’s all a journey.
