Pitchfork kicks off a new music books feature called “Paper Trail” by interviewing Simon Reynolds. (I’m actually trying not to read too much stuff about Retromania before actually reading it myself; the reviews, and to some extent the interviews, are not drawing me into the subject the way I hope the book itself will.)
